Roles & Responsibilities
- Analysing market trends, consumer behaviour to anticipate product demand and identify vendors or suppliers for product development or delivery.
- Understanding customer requirements and helping customers obtain the desired products at the right price.
- Collaborating with buyer and supplier for sample development, sample approval, price negotiation and order confirmation.
- Taking overall responsibilities for inspection.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure timely order delivery.
- Planning and developing merchandising strategies.
- Managing zone-wise team.
Key Skills
- Knowledge about various fabric and costing.
- Must have good knowledge of production, product development and costing.
- Should possess good communication skills.
- Senior Merchandisers must also have keen eye for detail.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field, such as Marketing/ Textile/Garment Technology. A Master’s Degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
