Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyzing market trends, customer behavior to anticipate product demands and identify manufacturers or suppliers for product development and delivery.
- Understanding customer requirements and helping them to obtain the right products in right price and at the right time.
- Collaborating with buyer and supplier for sample development, sample approval and order confirmation to ensure on time order delivery.
- Handle inspection responsibilities to maintain product quality and shipment accuracy by coordinating with suppliers.
- Manage and visit the dedicated customer list for specific zone -wise work to understand their needs.
- Developing and implementing merchandising strategies for supporting team to find out new suppliers and products.
- Prepare costing sheets, order sheets and Time and Action Plan.
- Supervising and mentoring zone-wise team.
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of Textile and Garment production and costing.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent negotiation, communication and management skills.
- Senior Merchandisers must also have a keen eye for detail.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Textile Engineering / Technology / Fashion Designing / Diploma in Garment Merchandising / Handloom Technology / BBA, B. A, B. Com, B. Com (H) or related field.
- 7-12 Years.
