Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims and accessories as per buyer requirements.
- Support in preparing cost sheets, purchase orders and tracking production timelines.
- Follow up with suppliers or mills/looms to ensure on-time delivery of fabrics.
- Act as a bridge between buyers, suppliers and internal teams for day-to-day queries.
- Assist in preparing MIS reports for review by senior management.
- Monitor order status and update reports to the senior merchandisers.
Key Skills
- Good knowledge of Textile industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Good communication skill for dealing with buyers and suppliers.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / Technology / Fashion Designing / Diploma in Apparel Merchandising / Handloom Technology/ BBA, B.A, B.Com , B.Com (H) or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in Merchandising Textile / Garment domain also considered.
